Ive also been trying to get more traffic. You can try going on websites and posts topic there and put your website adress. Its pretty hard work but if alot of people see it and are interested well... yea. And thanks tamiyap, really helped me. :)

i suggest using a traffic exchanger such as proautosurf, easyhits4u, toptiertraffic..there are two types of traffic exchangers. there is autosurf and manual surf. make sure u use autosurf. manual surf is only good if you want others to sign up. autosurf is just to get lots and lots of visits. i actually advertise on ptc sites because this way hits are unique. however, advertising cost money, but you can earn the money by clicking ads.

The first thing you have to do to increase your traffic is to promote your site. Register to social bookmarking sites and submit your website there.That is the basic way to increase traffic on your site.

Another way is that you can be active at many many forums, posting at forums
Doesn't necessary need to be paid to post forums
Then put your website link as your signature. The best is create a banner link to attract people's attentions

Creating Squidoo lenses is a great way to create links to your website and can really boost your search engine optimisation campaign. Blog/forum posting is another good way as long as you dont spam because the your comment/link may be removed.

The way I get traffic to my site is by linking to my site from article directories, blog commenting, posting on social networks, bookmarking, linking from forums, it is also a good idea to keep adding content to your site for returning visitors.

There are tons of methods you can use to generate free traffic on your website. But before anything else make sure that your site is worth the visit. To name a few:
1. Forums -Use your forum signature and participate in related topic forum communities. Don't spam!
