There are 4 ways I know to promote my site first is you will have to bookmark it in some popular bookmarking sites like digg, stumbleupon, yahoobuzz and more, second is join social sites and place your link in your shout. The 3rd one is put your link in your signature in any forums, and the last but not the least reply on yahoo answers to any questions related to your site and make sure it is clickable.

Yes, bringpeace, I have tried banner exchange as a means of getting traffic, but with minimal success. Perhaps because the other blog isn't very popular either. It manages some 50 unique hits daily and I got 1 or 2 referred visits daily.
