Referral Contest and Bonuses

So, with (hopefully) a faster site and a better domain name it is time to try and get some activity on the forum

Referral bonuses:

1) Each active referral you get will earn you 25 cents (they must be active 10+ posts)

2) There will be a contest running from now until September 31st, the members with the highest number of refs (3+ posts) win
1st prize: $25
2nd prize: $5
3rd-12th prize: $1

Oh, I saw this after I posted elsewhere. Mark, anyone, have we got any swipe mails, banners or splash pages to promote the new site? Ive got loads of traffic exchange credits that I may as well use for here. If not let me know Ill try to create something.

uh, it is the same system as before, UP TO 5 cents a post, it depends on post length, the posts do have to be pretty long to get the 5 cents, I guess usual is 2-4 cents for a good post and 1 cent for a short reply. Still reasonable rates I think.

Im not particulary artistic myself, but if I get in the "right" mood today, I'll have a go. Im really good with Photoshop, all the techy stuff, just dont have a creative mindset. May I use the header and/or logo to start something. I think a splash page might be appropriate, what do you think?

Wow, I would be really appreciative of something like that...and would have to give some sort of bonus. A splash page would be good - of course none of my so-called graphics are copyrighted lol, use them for this, or anything else!!

I like it! As a bonus to you I will promote your referral link when I use the splash page in surfs etc. but for others yes it would be nice to have the .gif file
